Happy new year to all! Thank you to our owners, followers and staff for the continued support and hard work throughout the ups and downs of 2019. We hope everyone had a lovely Christmas and enjoyed some time with family and friends.

On Sunday 29th we finished the decade with a trip to Kelso where Scullys Forge travelled sweetly through his 2m6f maiden hurdle to finish a gallant 3rd. This was really pleasing progress from him as he is made for fences in time.

Whoa Black Betty ran a few races later in a 2m novice hurdle, the ground had dried and cut up by this time which was not in her favour. She jumped well and she has come out of the race absolutely fine and we will look for some less sticky ground in the future. Both horses now will receive a handicap mark and will be able to start running at their level.

Tomorrow we have 2 runners at Musselburgh, Lovely Schtuff and Bermondsey Belle. We were pleased with Lovely Schtuff’s last outing at Musselburgh so hopefully he will have come on from this. Bermondsey Belle recently had a wind operation which should help her and we will look for progress from her.
