This week involved another trip back down to Carlisle with Midnight Kate and Motion To Strike. Both making a debut, Midnight Kate’s over hurdles and Motion To Strike over chase fences. Midnight Kate ran in a 2m1f race and put in a great effort with some fluent jumping to finish in 5th. Still very green but great first effort and fantastic to see a horse we have broken and brought on from the age of 3. Motion To Strike ran in a 2m5f chase, he too jumped fluently and but in a pleasing effort to also finish in 5th. With some nice weather, hopefully the ground will be drying all over the country and we will see some good racing to come.
