A busy week getting everything ready for our open morning, which happened today between 10 and 12. A fantastic turn out with over 100 people coming to visit the yard and see what we do here at Jackie Stephen Racing. We had a great morning, with the sun shining we managed to get everyone up to the gallops to watch 3 lots of horses and then paraded them all once everyone had a coffee to warm up! It was great to see so many people show an interest in what we do. A big effort by the team to get everything tidied up and the whole yard in tip top conditon.
We have also welcomed a new full time member to the team. Rachel Grant will be starting full time after having ridden out part time. She has previously worked for Jim Goldie and for a trainer in New Zealand. She will be a great asset to the team.
