We were back to Kelso on Wednesday for their twilight meeting which was their first since May. The borders track have to be congratulated on spending a large amount of money on improving the paddock and winners enclosure and although not quite completed yet the new facility will provide greatly enhanced viewing of the horses before and after races for the large knowledgeable crowds that attend Kelso.

Bridane High made his stable debut in the bumper and finished a respectable 5th. He ran up with the pace but was a bit outpaced off the home bend but kept on well to the line. He will be a nice stayer in time.

It was a windy journey in both directions for Patrick, Rachael and Lucy but they made it home safely, despite the disappointment of the Aberdeen bypass STILL not being OPEN!!!!!
