We had a great start to the three days at Perth, Bright Prospect ran in the 3m chase on Wednesday under Craig Nichol. He ran a good race to finish 2nd, he really pushed on at the last. This was a step up in trip and it seemed to suit. On Thursday, we had Il Sassicaia run in the 2m Novice’s hurdle under Henry Brooke. He unfortunately pulled up mid race. Well! What a week we have had! Welcome Ben ran in the 2m1f handicap chase at Kelso on the 10th of April. He ran a good race and then pushed on over the last two to make it all the way to the front!
