With the snow all gone and the weather getting, milder conditions are getting better in Aberdeenshire. Spirits are running high on the yard as Christmas fast approaches.
This week we had Midnight Kate run in the Junior Bumper at Newcastle. She put in a pleasing effort for her first race. She travelled down well with her companion Mattie and settled into the stable for the overnight stay. She was very easy to do at the racecourse and took everything in her stride. She ran at the front for most of the way, she was a little squashed in the closing stages and when the speed picked up she couldn’t quite keep up. She finished in a close 8th. All in all an educational and good trip to Newcastle!
