On Sunday 8th October we headed off to Kelso with Asum and Highland Peak. Asum ran for the first time for us in a 2m hurdle. He travelled well but unfortunately could not finish competitively due to bleeding and ended up in 7th. This is something we will now look into further and try to resolve. Highland Peak ran a competitive race in the front division but tired towards the end and finished in 6th. It is likely he will need a wind operation to help his breathing during the finishing stages.
