Yesterday at Perth we ran Highland Peak in a 3m hurdle. This was a step up in trip for him on softer ground than he would have liked. He ran a good race. After staying with the group and he finished up in 7th place. We were happy with his performance as he needs to gain experience and was carrying a stone and a half more in weight than the winner. We were also delighted to see that the Northern Lights Racing club are sitting 3rd in the Perth National Hunt Owners’ Championships after Welcome Bens brilliant performances at Perth throughout the season so far.
