Last week saw the end of Perth racecourses season and we said goodbye to our shortest journey time of 2hrs! Unfortunately, we only had one runner over the two days but as per normal Amilliontimes did not disappoint. He ran a good race with Brian Hughes aboard. He ran in mid-div, jumping to his normal high standard and finished strong to end up 3rd in an exciting finish. He is a consistent horse who always gives his most in races, he did well and his support team was definitely the loudest of the day!
We were sad to learn of the passing of Sam Morshead, he gave so much to Perth racecourse over the years and was always a friendly face to see.
At base this week we have schooled a couple of the horses to keep them fresh as well as continuing to work them. We are hoping for some softer ground over the next couple of weeks for a few of our horses, such as Bridane High and Highland Peak, who will be looking for runs soon.
