On the 8th of December, Welcome Ben made his debut over fences at Newcastle in the 2m4f Novice Chase. He learnt a lot and jumped well but unfortunately the course had taken a lot of rain and he wasn’t loving the ground so he subsequently pulled up. We hope to run him again soon.

On the 14th of December, the team and four of the horses travelled to Musselburgh. Mo Rouge made a good effort in the 3 mile chase, he jumped well and finished confidently for 3rd, a big improvement for him. Bright Prospect ran well in the 2m4f chase, it was a fast race and we were pleased for him to finish 4th. Ballinvegga ran in the 3 mile chase with blinkers on for the first time. He put in a good performance and jumped well to finish 5th.
Problema Tic ran for the first time since he fractured his canon bone last November. He started off well but unfortunately picked up a tendon injury during the race and will now retire.

We will hopefully have horses running again in the new year. We would like to wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
