This week we had Welcome Ben at Ayr for his second race back after his long break last year due to injury. He was fantastic, with another horse wanting to make the race he didn’t get to run out front himself in his usual style. However, this was to his advantage as it allowed him to settle in behind the leader and jump clear of the other horses about 3 from the finish. He then went on to stay clear and win by 11 lengths. We are so pleased he’s back to winning form and that has kicked the new season off to a great start for us!
We also have some entries for Perth next week, Highland Peak and Bermondsey Belle should both run, everything being well.
