We’ve had a busy few weeks with races coming up for some of our young horses. We had Drogon at Newcastle on the all weather and were slightly disappointed with his run and have taken sometime to look into this.

We had Kilfinan Bay at Kelso on Saturday making his hurdle debut. He hasn’t had much experience out yet due to being balloted out of bumpers before his summer break so this was a much needed experience for him. He jumped well and managed to settle towards the back. He showed promise running on but finished down the pack, however we are pleased with his first run and he has learnt a lot from this.

We have entries for Scullys Forge and Schiehallion Ridge at Ayr tomorrow, both making their hurdling debuts. Whoa Black Betty is also entered for Saturday at Ayr, continuing the theme of making her hurdling debut.

We are pleased to announce the purchase and arrival of Wolfcatcher. He is an experienced chaser with good form and is an exciting prospect for the yard. We will be looking for owners for him so if anyone is interested please get in touch.
