On Wednesday the 17th we ran Welcome Ben and Ill Sassicaia at Perth. Ill Sassicaia ran with first time cheek pieces on and was positioned nicely early on in the race but unfortunately does not want to finish his races so did not complete. In the next race we ran Welcome Ben. He lead all the way and jumped perfectly and stormed home to win by 8 lengths.
On Thursday the 18th we headed back down to Perth for day 2 with Motion To Strike and Amilliontimes. Motion To Strike ran a much better race where he settled after a few hurdles and then in an exciting finish ended up 2nd after leading for a short while. Amilliontimes was returning after his winter break and ran a superb race. He ran in his usual style and gave us another exciting finish where he also came 2nd. We are delighted with how all the horses ran and what an amazing start to the new season we’ve had.
