On Tuesday 1st August we ran Highland Peak and Motion To Strike at Perth racecourse. Highland Peak performed well and stayed on to finish 5th. On Wednesday the 5th we ran Welcome Ben in a 2 mile Chase were he dominated and held on gamely for his 3rd consecutive victory! He has now won 3 from 6 steeplechases and is yet to be beaten in the colours of the Northern Lights racing club. On Sunday at Bratton Down Point to Point, Devon/Somerset Lucy rode in the Ladies open race. On only her second ride, she rode a lovely race and managed to win!! We are very proud of her achievements as she trains and rides LadyVie herself in Jackies colours.
On Wednesday the 17th we ran Welcome Ben and Ill Sassicaia at Perth. Ill Sassicaia ran with first time cheek pieces on and was positioned nicely early on in the race but unfortunately does not want to finish his races so did not complete.
